At Mandas Law, we would like to give a warm welcome to the newest member of our legal family - Catherine “Cathy” O’Donnell. Cathy came to us from O’Donnell & Associates, Ltd., where she served by her father’s side for 16 years. Kevin O’Donnell was one of the most respected and skilled attorneys in the Northwest Suburbs and served as a mentor to both Cathy and our firm’s founder – Leah Mandas Pablecas.
In Memoriam of Kevin O’Donnell
Sadly, Mr. O’Donnell recently lost his long and courageous battle with cancer. At our firm, we felt his passing deeply, as did everyone who knew and respected him in the legal community and the large and loving family he left behind. Kevin O’Donnell is survived by his wife, 7 children, and 17 grandchildren, and Cathy is proud to keep her father’s legacy alive by joining Mandas Law as a Senior Associate Attorney.

Cathy and her father were a force to be reckoned with during their time practicing together, and she is proud to have spent the last 16 years of Kevin’s 50-year career by his side. Humor is one of Cathy’s signature strengths, but she also brings skill, tenacity, legal wisdom, and talent to every case she handles. Cathy offers calmness and direction to her clients, who often feel they are caught in a heavy storm.
She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in 2000 and from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2004 – also with honors. Cathy uses her skill and education to achieve the most favorable results for every client she helps.
